1>Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai:
Their romance brewed on the sets of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan’s relationship was the talking point of Bollywood. Fans went crazy and everybody wanted to see the two love birds together, although they did not profess their love in public. But before this relationship could go any further, it went kaput. Sources say it was Salman’s possessive and aggressive nature that caused the rift. But who will ever know the truth?
2>Shahid and Priyanka:
After Shahid’s the two could settle, it’s said that Piggy Chops left Shahid high and dry to romance another big superstar of Bollywood.break up with Kareena, he sought solace in the arms of Pee Cee. Shahid and Priyanka had a great chemistry in Kaminey and that film was instrumental in brining them together. After his break up with Bebo, Shahid never openly spoke about Priyanka but during an IT raid at Pee Cee’s house, Shahid was said to have opened the door. This caught everybody’s attention but before the two could settle, it’s said that Piggy Chops left Shahid high and dry to romance another big superstar of Bollywood.
3>John and Bipasha:
After dating for ten years, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu’s romance came to an end. Bipasha who was earlier dating John’s friend Dino broke up with him to date John. Just when every one thought the two were going long and strong, they called it quits. While Bips cites many reasons, John said in an interview that his silence was mistaken and that he is a one woman man.
4>Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor
They were both new comers to the industry and Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were the with it couple of B-Town. After Ranbir’s alleged romance with Sonam Kapoor, he moved on to the long legged beauty Deepika Padukone. All was going well until Ranbir started shooting with Katrina Kaif for Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani. Dips could not bear her boyfriend’s proximity to Kats and the two ultimately split. Ranbir is believed to be dating Katrina though they deny it, in spite of being photographed together on many occasions including their recent trip together to Ibiza.
5>Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor:
Bebo was to make her debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kaho Na Pyaar Hain but due to some problems, she quit the film and Ameesha was roped in. Thought Bebo had walked out of the film, her few scenes with Hrithik created a romance that Bollywood remembers till date. Hrithik was already committed to child hood sweet heart Suzanne Khan. But nothing could stop Duggu and Bebo from falling for each other. But this story ended when Hrithik got married to Suzanne and Bebo moved on with Shahid.
6>Karishma and Abhishek Bachchan:
Karishma Abhishek Bachchan met when Lolo was shooting with Big B for a film. Sparks flew and the two seemed to meet more often which ultimately led to their engagement on senior Bachchan’s 60th birthday. While fans were celebrating the good news, Lolo and junior B suddenly called off their engagement. This news shocked everyone and Lolo went ahead to marry Sanjay Kap0or. But she looked best with Aby Baby.
7>Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia:
Preity was the glamorous actress of Bollywood and Ness was the scion of the Wadia empire. They were the most stylish couple in town and though it is said that Ness’s mum Maureen Wadia was unhappy with this relationship, Preity and Ness continued to date. Zinta and Ness were also partners for the IPL team Kings XI Punjab. It is believed that Preity’s closeness to cricketer Yuvraj Singh and business differences with Ness caused the rift. Others say it was mum Maureen who was instrumental in the break up. Irrespective, the two were made for each other.
8>Lara Dutta and Kelly Dorjee:
Lara Dutta and Kelly Dorjee were madly in love and the couple was in a live in relationship for eight years. But it seems that Lara chose to dump Kelly for the more successful tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi. While the two started dating, it is believed that a much married Mahesh left his wife Shwetha for Lara Dutta.
9>Shilpa Shetty and Akshay Kumar:
After Akshay’s romance with Raveena, Akshay and Shilpa Shetty’s relationship was most talked about in tinsel town. While Akshay was known to be a woman’s man, Shilpa fell hard for him during the shoot of Dhadkan. She was so madly in love with him but before she could bask in her new found love, Akshay married Dimple and Rajesh Khanna’s daughter Twinkle and left Shilpa heart broken. 10>Anushka and Raveer Singh
While this Band Baaja Baraat jodi vehemently denied dating each other, onlookers had a different version to share. Anushka repeatedly denied dating her co star but the chemistry and spark was obvious for all to see. No one knows what really went wrong in this lovers’ paradise but the two are no more a couple. Sad, but true!
